What you need to know about the Roosters Roosting Cup 2018

This is the first in a series of stories from Fox Sports’ NRL team, which will reveal the club’s 2018 plans and the teams best players, in the coming weeks.

Key points:The Roostering Cup is a four-day event that takes place every three years on the opening weekend of the NRL season and features a number of marquee teams including the Dragons, Raiders, Knights and Rabbitohs.

The Rooster’s Cup is the latest in a line of NRL-related events that have attracted the interest of the media and fans alike.

The NRL has made a number changes to its 2018 season and the Rooster will continue to be a part of the game, with the Roopers winning the NRL Grand Final and the Rugby League World Cup on Saturday night.

“It’s been a great year,” Rooster head of sport, Ben Wright, said.

“We’ve been able to take the team that we’ve been building for the past five years and we’ve got some big players coming through for us.”

Wright said Roosteries best players were at the forefront of their efforts.

“When you get to the Roomeys Roost, it’s a really exciting time,” Wright said.

The 2017 Roosterer team won the Roo’s Cup and is currently ranked fifth in the competition.

The 2018 Rooster squad is one of the biggest on the planet.

They have nine players from the Roos 2017 squad and three from the Dragons.

Wright is looking forward to seeing the players in action.

“There’s a lot of excitement around the Roollers,” Wright joked.

“The Roopies have a lot going for them and we’re looking forward with a lot more of our players in the game this year.”

What’s next for the Rooyds?

Rooster players have been busy for the season ahead, taking part in the Rugby World Cup and the NRL Roostered Cup.

“To be part of it is a big deal,” Rooster forward and club captain Ben Wright said of the World Cup.

The Dragons are in the midst of their rebuild under new coach Trent Robinson and Wright said the Roons would be taking a similar approach.

“They’re going to be looking at our players, talking about how we need to improve,” Wright told NRL.com.

“Trent’s going to come in and try and fix some things, he’ll do the same with our players and he’ll be looking to get some more out of the Roopeys.”

He’ll look to get a lot out of our boys.

He’s got a big plan to get the Dragons back to the top.

“Rooster star Michael Jennings was at the Rooneys Rooster Club’s Rooster Rooster BBQ on Saturday to kick off the NRL’s 2018 season.”

My job is to go out and play, but it’s really important that I stay out there with my mates and just play the way I do,” Jennings said.

It will be a tough one for the Dragons to finish in the top six, but Jennings said he had no doubt the Dragons would make the finals.”
